notice_summary_english: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Provision of Vascualar Closure Devices (VCDs) for arteries and veins or the heart itself, to control, diagnose, monitor, or correct disease, injury, or other conditions, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The scope of this RFP includes vascular closure devices used to obtain hemostasis at the vascular access site while limiting the need for manual compression.  

The term of the agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) optional term of one (1) year each.
In consideration of Shared Health’s procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, for this solicitation, preference will be given to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. Shared Health may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.
